Takeda Legacy
A trailer for an imaginary Japanese film, from story to final cut
The question
Can I make a trailer for a Japanese epic that does not exist?
What I took from it
A trailer is a promise. A clear story in four lines mattered more than any single beautiful frame.
Five Years of Shadow: The Takeda Legacy. Official trailer for a film that doesn’t exist.
For generations, the Takeda family protected a sacred seal, until one night a trusted merchant stole it and vanished. For five years, a daughter of the family searched for the thief. Today she finally finds him in a small village fish market. As night falls, she follows him through dark streets into a quiet garden, where two swords are drawn. Will she restore her family’s honor, or fail like those before her?
